How to work with neural networks to get the best results

Neural networks are not a magic button, but a tool that works in conjunction with you. To get the most out of AI, it is important not just to throw commands at it, but to set tasks correctly — for example, sharing context and asking for feedback.

Use AI when you need a creative assistant

— When you don't have time to dig through sources or want to quickly come up with fresh ideas, a neural network becomes a creative assistant that will give you hints and adapt to your needs. Here's how I use AI to solve my problems.

Gather sources and information about the brand. When writing the script for a reel about the 2025 core, it was important not to talk nonsense: I needed articles and reports, preferably from abroad. I simply asked ChatGPT to compile a list of literature. It provided links, and then I studied the sources myself and checked them — because it likes to embellish slightly, inventing non-existent studies and news.

A similar story: I needed to quickly get to grips with a brand, understand what was happening with it right now. So I asked: ‘Tell me what's new with the brand, with sources.’ This saved me a lot of time delving into the issue.

Brainstorm ideas and tailor your wording to technical requirements. I don't like coming up with topics for posts or special projects with a neural network — most of the time, it turns out to be banal or boring. But it's easy to come up with funny names for a magical fictional country within the project I'm working on. I write a couple of my own options and ask to continue with that vibe. Sometimes GPT throws in words that I had completely forgotten about, and jokes and ideas are born from them.

Talk to the neural network as if it were a colleague or business partner

Set the AI a task as if it were your colleague. Neural networks understand much more than they seem to. The question is how you treat them. The accuracy of the answer directly depends on how clearly you formulate your request. One of the working techniques is to set the task as if you were writing it for someone on your team.

For example, instead of ‘Write a text about the conference,’ it is better to formulate the request as follows: "Imagine that you are a copywriter. We need a pitch for the HR Forum Lecture Hall. The audience is HR directors. The topic is “HR and the law: how to protect your business when working with personal data”. The goal is to pass moderation and catch the attention of the programme committee. Keep it under 1,500 characters."

The clearer you define the role, goal, and context, the closer the result will be to what you can actually use in your work.

Talk to the neural network as if it were your assistant

— Imagine that you have hired a new person: they are very diligent and enthusiastic, but they cannot read your mind. The same applies to neural networks.

Imagine that AI is your assistant. Don't throw short commands into the prompt like ‘Come up with a slogan for a construction store.’ Instead, tell it everything: "You are a copywriter, writing a slogan for a construction store. The store is called such-and-such, and its distinctive features are such-and-such. The director wants the slogan to reflect this and that. It is important that the phrase is no longer than five words," and so on. The more detailed you describe the task, the more accurate the answers will be.
