Last updated: March 9, 2026

GrowthScribe supports flexible and remote work arrangements where feasible. This Remote Work & Device Usage Policy (“Policy”) establishes the expectations for employees and contractors working outside traditional office settings, and governs the use of company and personal devices when accessing https://growthscribe.com systems.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Policy is to:

  • Ensure productivity and accountability in remote work environments.
  • Protect company and client data when accessed from remote locations.
  • Provide clear standards for the use of devices, software, and networks.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to all employees, contractors, and partners of GrowthScribe who perform work remotely or access company systems using company-issued or personal devices.

3. Remote Work Expectations

Remote employees are expected to:

  • Maintain regular working hours consistent with their role.
  • Be available during agreed-upon times for calls, meetings, or collaboration.
  • Ensure a professional work environment during client or team communications.
  • Accurately record time, tasks, or deliverables where applicable.

Concerns about productivity, scheduling, or deliverables should be communicated to management or kartik@growthscribe.com.

4. Device Usage

When working remotely, employees must:

  • Use company-issued devices whenever possible.
  • Keep all devices updated with the latest security patches and antivirus software.
  • Lock devices when not in use and store them securely.
  • Refrain from installing unauthorized applications or software.
  • Avoid storing company files on personal devices unless explicitly authorized.

If a device is lost, stolen, or compromised, it must be reported immediately to kartik@growthscribe.com.

5. Network and Data Security

  • Employees must use secure, password-protected Wi-Fi connections.
  • Use of a VPN is required when accessing sensitive systems remotely.
  • Public or unsecured networks (e.g., cafés, airports) should be avoided unless a VPN is active.
  • Sensitive files must not be transmitted over unencrypted channels.

6. Confidentiality

Remote workers must take reasonable precautions to protect confidential data:

  • Avoid working in public places where screens may be visible.
  • Use privacy filters if working in shared environments.
  • Do not discuss sensitive business matters in public spaces.

7. Monitoring and Compliance

Remote employees’ use of devices and systems may be monitored for security, compliance, and performance. Use of company property and access to https://growthscribe.com implies consent to reasonable monitoring practices.

8. Return of Property

All company-issued devices, software, and records must be returned upon termination of employment or contract. Company data must be deleted from personal devices at that time, with confirmation sent to kartik@growthscribe.com.

9. Policy Enforcement

Failure to comply with this Policy may result in disciplinary action, including suspension of remote work privileges or termination.

10. Review

This Policy will be reviewed periodically and updated to reflect evolving remote work practices and security standards. Employees are expected to comply with the most recent version.
